I don´t know very well if I have a favourite artist until now, so I will write about one of the first I knew and fascinated me, the person I talking about is Alberto Durero, he is a german artist that lived between 1471-1528. He is the most famous artist of the german renaissance and knowing for his pictures, drawings and gravens. He has a decisive influence as transmitter of the renaissance ideas in the artists of all the north of Europe in the XVI century. The most I like about Durero is that in his time he knew how to think his own ideas and the ideas of their culture in the context of the new thinkins about art and most of all of the artists.

My favourite work of Durero is “Melancolia I”, and is concerning of the new thoughts about the role of artists as thinkers surrounded by many knowledges, putting the art as a science instead of a manual practicing. About the work “Melancolia I” I like the way the person looks and how the disposed elements gives a sence to the graven.
